KL Select Red Barn Stirrup Leathers

Red Barn Calf Lined Stirrup Leathers by KL Select. The exterior is made of soft, calf-skin leather which provides smooth comfort against the leg. The calfskin prevents chafing while protecting your boots and saddle from rubbing. The core of the KL Select Red barn stirrup leathers has a strong nylon webbing.  The combination of supple calfskin leather and interior nylon webbing provides soft, but durable stirrup leathers. Also, the interior nylon prevents these leathers from stretching while the calfskin provides long-lasting protection. Finished with a low profile buckle there is minimal bulk under the leg while riding.

In total, there are 22 holes placed approximately 1/2 inch apart on the leathers. Therefore, the close holes provide maximum adjustability. The numbers are punched to prevent them from rubbing off.

Available in two colors, brown or black, the stirrup leathers can match almost any saddle you have. The black stirrup leathers are 1 inch thick. Black has 5 lengths available: 52″, 54″, 57″, 60″, 63″

Webbed Nylon Core

The core is webbed nylon. It prevents the leather from stretching out significantly. It is not zero stretch, but will resist stretch. Using stirrup leathers as a mounting block is not suggested. Instead, try our 2 step mounting block. Saves the leathers and your horse’s back.

Calfskin Wrapped

The supple, durable KL Select Red Barn Calfskin Leathers protect your saddle, boots, and legs. The leather is soft yet durable and from England. Considered one of the more ethical sources of leather.

Low Profile Buckle

The buckle on these stirrups is low profile. There is minimal bulk under the leg providing comfort to the rider.
