KL Select got started in the equestrian business way back in 1987. They started off as the Kensington Leather Company. Kensington Leather Company built all kinds of English tack including bridles, breastplates, stirrup leathers and reins – otherwise known as strap goods. They’re the only company we could find that makes 1 inch wide rubber reins! Unfortunately they don’t make saddles otherwise we would love to work with them. The company sources their raw material from English leather providers and their labor from skilled leatherworkers in several countries. Shortening their name to KL Select in the early 2000s, the company still makes and distributes high quality English riding tack throughout the USA and the world. We work with this US based company because we have similar values – great customer service and top quality materials and workmanship in the products we work with. We offer KL Select product online and our our Temecula tack store.
