Black or Brown Saddle Grab Strap

The manufacturing company black and Havana brown leather to make their saddle straps.

Quality Leather

This rolled leather is made from grass-fed beef and tanned in Europe. The same rolled leather used for this product are what many high-quality bridles use. During the bridle-making process, many yards of leather go to waste. There is little tolerance for waste in this industry, especially with such high-quality leather. As a result, the manufacturing companies utilize the incorrectly cut leather in other applications – one such use is grab straps for English saddles.

Grab Strap as a Training Aide

The grab strap isn’t just to keep your butt in the saddle, many trainers use bucking straps as training aides. If your horse tends to bulge his neck to the outside, you can hold onto the grab strap and the rein with your outside hand. This increases the strength and stability of that aide and therefore limits the horse’s ability to bulge. We have seen the strap used for helping riders sit big, bouncy trots, too. It can help steady the rider and allow them to use and develop a deeper seat. These are just a few examples of a nice multi-use tool. Talk to your trainer to see if a saddle grab strap might be helpful for you.
