Cross Country Boot Tape

Avoid cross country boot fail with cross country boot tape! It’s a fact, the velcro / hook and loop closure on your cross country boots can and will fail. Typical boot failure occurs when you slide across a big table or your horse decides to test the durability of the boots he is wearing by slamming a leg into the front of log. If you have older XC boots the velcro may just come off because the hook/loops are at the end of their useful life – this typically happens after a run through water. What we’re doing with the tape is reinforcing your boot’s velcro.

This is NOT electrical tape

Electrical tape comes in a shorter roll, it’s heavier and is softer making it fray and therefore fail. Our Cross Country Boot Tape’s adhesive won’t melt and get gooey in the heat of competition like electrical tape. Our tape is thinner and lighter yet stronger than electrical tape. You can even write on it and use it for labeling gear.

We sell our xc boot tape in nearly every eventing color. More colors to come as the different vinyl used to make the tape is tested on cross country. Some colors produce a more brittle vinyl.
