Nikwax Rug Wash

Nikwax Rug Wash cleans and protects the water-repellent finish on all types of canvas and synthetic horse rugs, doubling the life of waterproofing treatments. Your animal blankets could be soaking up water just because they are dirty. First, clean with horse Rug Wash. If your rug is fairly new, or recently re-waterproofed, the durable water repellency will be replenished just from a cleaning. But, once the rug is thoroughly worn, revitalize them using Nikwax Rug Proof, after cleaning first with Nikwax Rug Wash.

Washing Instructions-

Machine Wash:

• Remove all previous detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
• Then place one item in a washing machine (maximum 1 rug per load).
• In addition, ensure washing machine is large enough to allow freedom of movement for the item.
• Use 150 ml (Five ounces) per item.
• Finally, wash according to care label.
• DO NOT USE OTHER DETERGENTS!

Hand Wash (use gloves):

• First off, spread the rug / horse blanket on clean area and wet thoroughly with a hose.
• Then, dilute 1 part Rug Wash with 2 parts hot water.
• Use a brush to scrub the solution into the fabric paying attention to dirty areas.
• Lastly, rinse thoroughly in clean water.
