Mattes EuroFit Dressage Pad
Fully custom Mattes Eurofit dressage pad with sheepskin panels and bare flaps. The bare flap design minimizes material under the rider’s leg while offering your horse’s back Merino sheepskin protection directly under the panels of the saddle. The unlined flaps are quilted with a Poly-Flex layer that doesn’t add bulk but does add energy absorption properties and reduces bounce. EuroFit is simply a description of the shape. Most dressage pads are a simple square, like the Mattes Square Dressage Pad or the Christ Dressage Pad. The EuroFit shape is curved in the back, adding a bit of cool to an otherwise traditional look. Like all Mattes saddle pads, the colors of the pad are customizable to fit your eventing or barn colors.

We stock Mattes EuroFit dressage pads in black and white quilt colors with white binding. Sizes small, medium large and XL stay in stock. You can custom order any quilt color with any binding and add up to three pipes. Custom orders take 6-10 weeks for building + delivery. Shipping within the US is complimentary on all Mattes EuroFit dressage pads even if it’s a custom order. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful these pads are! The color choices and combinations are nearly infinite and the quality is unsurpassed! They wash well, sit under the saddle nice and securely, have excellent moisture and heat wicking properties, and are beautiful. I’m really not sure what else you could want in a saddle pad. I currently have four of these pads that I use for showing and clinics and I’ll likely be getting another for daily use.

Just received my custom ordered pad and it is beautiful and just like I imagined it. I love the Mattes dressage pads. This is my 5th one. The Mattes pad was initially recommended to me by Sheryl Lemke whom is the owner of Lemke Saddles Services. She said the Christ pads and the Mattes pads were the way to go. I went with the Mattes ones because of the colors and different custom options. They are a lot of fun and they work great.
I am also very pleased with the service. It was excellent. Carl was super to work with. He made sure everything was the way I wanted before the pad was made. He also followed-up and let me know the status of my order without me having to check. I will definitely order my next pads from Four Star Brand.
