Tendon Grip Gel Sock

Tendon grip gel socks for horses provide an extra layer of protection between your horses sensitive skin and whichever boots you decide to use. The Gel Sock can be cut down to fit any horse’s leg and can help in a number of ways. Also available are tendon grip socks known as tendon traction socks. Horse gel socks are nylon sleeves coated with a high grade mineral oil that protects and moisturizes the skin. Kentucky gel socks are also used to treat hypertrophic and keloid scars.

Tendon grip gel is great at protecting your horse from rubs when put under a boot. The image above depicts the horse socks under an open front jump boot. We have seen this stuff used the most at the beginning of the season, when horses are recently shaved. An alternative are EquiFit HorseSox.
