Crystal Browbands for Horses

Crystal browbands for horses are made by Vespucci, an Italian equestrian brand using genuine Swarovski crystals. They make three different styles of crystal browbands. Each crystal browband comes in multiple variations (sizes, colors). All of Vespucci’s crystal browbands use Swarovski crystals and fine, Italian leather and soft padding.

Looking for a browband for a double bridle? The Queen Swarovski Crystal browband comes in a special Weymouth / double bridle size that has larger ends, accommodating the wider crowpiece of double bridles.

Vespucci makes three types of crystal browbands for horses. Scroll down for a detailed description of each of the browbands.

• The Patent Petite Swarovski Crystal browband (16 inches long, 5/8 inches wide)
• Petite Swarovski Crystal browband (5/8 inches wide – length depends on size selected)
• Queen Swarovski Crystal browband (1.25 inches wide and available in weymouth sizes)

The Patent Leather Petite Swarovski Crystal Browband

This browband uses patent leather (the shiny black leather) to display round, petite, diamond-like Swarovski crystals. The back side (facing the horse) is padded with a matching pad. This browband is only available in horse size, measuring 16 inches long (40.64 cm) and 5/8 inches wide (15.87 mm).

The Petite Swarovski Crystal Browband

With two different leather colors, the petite Swarovski crystal browband uses the same round, diamond-like crystals as the patent leather petite Swarovski browband. This browband is padded (pad matches the leather selected). Measures 5/8 inches wide (15.87 mm). Length depends on the size: Cob = 15″, Horse = 16″

The Queen Swarovski Crystals Browband (available in weymouth sizes)

For her Highness, Queen of Chestnut Mares… combine both round petite crystals with larger square cut Swarovski crystals to create the Queen Crystals Browband. Back of  browband is padded with matching padded material. Widest of the crystal browbands at 1.25 inches wide (3.175 cm). This browband comes in multiple sizes including weymouth sizes: horse & cob lengths. The weymouth sizes feature a larger hole (about 1 inch wide) on the sides, allowing for the wider crownpiece found on many double bridles. If you’re looking for a dressage browband with crystals, this is what you need.

Other Sizes Available

If you would like any of these crystal browbands in oversize (17 inch length) or another size that’s not available through the site, we can make a special order. A single oversize crystal browband will cost more but if you purchase at least 3, we can provide a substantial discount on the price / browband (about 30%). Lead time is 16-20 weeks as these will be custom made.

Swarovski is a private company based out of Wattens, Austria. They have been in business since 1895, producing luxury cut lead glass and various other products. Their crystals are made from a special type of glass that uses lead to replace calcium, therefore increasing the clarity of the glass – getting it closer to the clarity of diamonds used for fashion.
