It’s replacing our Five Star Tack signature breastplate only because Five Star is no longer in production. We looked for a long time before finding this replacement and are happy to offer it for 1/2 the price of the Five Star brand.

This horse breastplate is available in 4 sizes: Pony, Cob, Full and XFull. Please do your best to size correctly but rest assured that if you mess up, we will exchange your breastplate for another size or model.

Notable Accessories

This breastplate attaches in 3 locations… 3 point breastplate… 2 of those connections are made to your saddle’s D-Rings. D rings very in quality from saddle to saddle. Some are actually secured using nothing more then the leather to hold them while others are actually connected to the tree & are replaceable if damaged. Determine your cost of replacing these pieces of saddle furniture then consider the cost of these inexpensive D ring savers. They connect to the stirrup bars of your saddle – which are pretty much always more solid then the D rings.

We try to keep all things in stock at all times, but that’s not always possible. If the breastplate variation you want is “Available on Backorder”, that means we do not have it in stock at our store, but it’s not discontinued by the manufacturing company (it’s still available). When we receive a backorder, we will fulfill it either with our next order from the manufacturer or when that item becomes available, whatever happens first.

For PEI products, we order at least once a month, so you can expect to have your breastplate within 3 weeks or so. IF you want it faster, please pay for an express shipping option. As long as the breastplate is available at PEI’s warehouse in the UK, we will order it for you without waiting for our regular shipments. If it’s not available for immediate shipping, we will refund the express shipping cost and ship when it’s ready, using our regular “free” shipping method for orders over $75.
