Freight Shipments Information

We use a number of Less than Truckload (LTL) freight services to fulfill large orders like arenas and jumps. Once your order has been assembled / built, we will email you with details that will look something like this:

Your order has been shipped via Custom Companies (or other carrier). The BOL number is (tracking number). You can go to this website with that tracker to see updates (link to whatever freight company). The freight company will call on the phone number you provided (confirmed here) to schedule a delivery appointment at (addy confirmed here). If someone other than you will be accepting the freight, please give them the following information:

Your shipment contains: 1 Pallet with 5 boxes + 3 long “loose” boxes of rails or poles, depending on the order. (This is only an example).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Review your bill of lading, provided either by us prior to delivery or at the delivery site, by the driver.
  2. You must sign the “bill of lading” or “proof of delivery” document when you receive your shipment. REVIEW the document and COMPARE the description to what you are actually looking at. Note the number of pieces, pallets, loose boxes etc. Please use logic… if you’re ordering 25 jumps and 100 poles and you receive 100 lbs of small boxes, something is wrong!
  3. If anything is different from the POD, write on the proof of delivery document what was actually received and be sure to note any MISSING items
  4. Inspect your shipment. NOTE (on the proof of delivery document) any tears, crushed boxes or punctured boxes. If there are ANY signs of damage, NOTE it on the delivery receipt BEFORE you sign it. You have the right to INSPECT the shipment prior to signing the POD / delivery receipt. If there is any obvious damage or potential damage, we highly recommend that in addition to the notes on the POD, take pictures of the damage.
  5. Even if there are discrepancies that you noted, or damage that you noted and took pictures of, accept the entire shipment. Refusing a shipment will cause major delays. There is something useful being delivered… any damages or shorts can be shipped separately and much faster then the whole shipment so DON’T REFUSE, JUST DOCUMENT!
  6. For any shorts or damage, EMAIL US ASAP with images you took, descriptions, and and image or copy of the POD. We will help you because you helped yourself via the notes and images!

IF THE TRUCKING COMPANY HAS DAMAGED OR LOST SOMETHING AND YOU HAVE NOT NOTED ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT (POD) THE ISSUE(S), WE WILL BE UNABLE TO ASSIST YOU IN FILING THE CLAIM WITH THE TRUCKING COMPANY & YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FILING THE CLAIM!!!

How we Protect You and Your Purchase

We use only good freight companies who have a history of making deliveries without destroying or losing things. They might not be the fastest, but they get big things where they need to go.

We take pictures of the freight before it leaves the warehouse. These images prove that everything on the BOL was there when the pickup was made and that the boxes were in good shape prior to pickup.

We require the freight company to carry insurance so we are all protected against major losses in transit.

We will fight for you if you help us by following the above procedures when you receive your shipment. Please don’t slack on this or we cannot help you.
